International Sustainability Carbon Certification Plus in Gerosa Group Headquarters

Cellografica Gerosa S.p.A., the Italian plant settled in Inverigo, achieved ISCC+ certification in September. 

Dr. Andrea Cassinari - Group Quality and Global Regulatory Affairs Director - describes the results as a milestone for Gerosa Group and a first stage for all other plants that will follow the same path.

The strategy of a proper Chain of Custody in the entire Food Supply Chain will support the Sustainability challenge. New sustainable raw materials with renewable and/or recycled content characteristics can be used in our converting steps increasing circularity value. High focus on product safety for all our Sustainable Food Contact Materials is now a reality thanks to the recently adopted and published Commission Regulation (EU) 2022/1616 of 15 September 2022 on recycled plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with foods, and repealing Regulation (EC) No 282/2008.

A new era for FCM has just begun.
